It is winter time and most of us are not even considering eating something cold.  However, in the mind of a child popsicles do not necessarily equal summer time!  My daughter is always asking for a popsicle or yogurt pop.

Mango Puree Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags Frozen mangos (21 oz)
  • 25 dixie cups
  • 25 wooden craft sticks
Directions:
  • Defrost frozen mangos.
  • Add to blender and puree.
  • Pour puree into small dixie cups and add sticks.
  • Freeze mango popsicles for 3 hours or until frozen solid.

Mangos are high in vitamin C and very delicious.   If you want to get more creative: swirl in a raspberry puree, strawberry puree, vanilla yogurt or whole frozen blueberries.  This is a great way to get fruit into your children and the immunity building Vitamin C!  We made these the other night and when my daughter asked for seconds, I did not blink because I know the goodness in these pops!  Enjoy.
