Green Beans and Potatoes- Simple and Good!

Ingredients
- 4-6 farm fresh potatoes quartered
- 3 cups stringed green beans
- 4 slices of uncured or nitrate free bacon (local if possible)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare veggies (get your kids involved)
- Put beans and bacon in pot with about 1 inch of water.
- Cook for 20 minutes on a low heat.
- Add potatoes and cook covered for another 20 minute or until the potatoes are tender.
- Salt and pepper to taste.

Yah, wish my boys were a LOT younger. You won’t find them playing with their food at 9 and 12, but helping me prepare it might go a long way to getting them to try the food! I love beans and potatoes!! YUM
Green beans and potatoes are the two veggies my boys and I love raw. They will eat potatoes pretty much any way I make them, but green beans go further raw than cooked any day here!
